Do It for Them
We often say, “Let me know if you need anything.”
We mean it.
But that still leaves one more task for the person who may already have too many—to decide what they need, ask for help, and tell us what to do.
Sometimes kindness can be simpler.
See the trash that needs taken out? Take it.
A Brother is carrying chairs? Grab the other end.
Your wife has had a long day? Handle something she normally does before she has to ask.
A coworker is buried in work and you have ten minutes? Take one small thing off the pile.
Not because they can’t do it.
Because they shouldn’t have to do everything themselves.
Charity isn’t always giving something away. Sometimes it’s giving a little of your time, effort, or attention to make another person’s load lighter.
And you don’t always have to ask first.
Sometimes you can simply see what needs doing—
and do it for them.
Today’s Work: Find one small task that would make someone else’s day easier, and do it before they have to ask.
Masonry works when it’s done daily.
