Notice the Person Others Miss
Kindness often begins by simply noticing.
We pass people every day without really seeing them. The person cleaning the room after everyone leaves. The server filling another cup of coffee. The quiet Brother sitting by himself. The new employee still trying to find his place.
None of them may need our money.
But they may need something just as human—to be acknowledged.
A name remembered. A handshake. A sincere thank-you. A question followed by enough time to actually hear the answer.
Brotherly Love and Charity are expressed in large acts, but they are also practiced in these small moments of human dignity.
Today, look for the person others seem to pass by.
And make sure that person knows you saw him.
Today’s Work: Notice one person who might otherwise go unseen, and acknowledge them sincerely.
Masonry works when it’s done daily.
